You stand there at a distance
Ears at attention
as if you're really listening
Eyes filled with envy and hate
you better speak up before it's too late
yeah i'm calling you out come and step to the plate
Better yet just stand there and hold up the wall
go ahead and take your stance but be careful not to fall
and when you decide to come, come with your all
It's not time for games, you're not talking to your doll
You're talking to the great... at least you're gonna be once you step to the plate
